Led by founder Benjamin G. Mitchell, a Torres Strait Islander with over 30 years of experience in public service, enterprise, and cultural leadership, NCIE integrates Indigenous knowledge with contemporary business practices. Our work centres Indigenous voices and values to foster sustainable, inclusive progress.

Founded by Benjamin Mitchell, a proud Merriam and Mualgal man of the Torres Strait and PhD Candidate at The Australian National University, NCIE draws on cutting-edge research and real-world experience. Benjamin’s work focuses on Indigenous knowledges and innovation management, delivering actionable insights that strengthen community-driven development. This approach shapes every project we undertake, ensuring our strategies are culturally grounded, evidence-based, and focused on long-term prosperity.
